Why Jewelry Designers See the Magic of Using 11:11 in Their Work

If you catch a glimpse of the clock at 11:11 or see $11.11 on a receipt, there likely is a higher power sending a message your way, says jewelry designer Logan Hollowell.

Hollowell uses 11:11 on several of her jewelry pieces, and she believes in that sequence of numbers so much as a symbol of positive energy, she opened her retail store, known as the Goddess Den, on Nov. 11, 2021.

“Seeing 11:11 repeatedly is a message from the universe or the angels indicating that you are on the right path or that you should pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, and intuition,” Hollowell says. “It is often seen as a reminder to stay focused on your spiritual journey and to trust in the guidance and support of the universe or the divine.”

But it’s not just Hollowell who holds these numbers as a sign that the universe has your back. Other jewelry designers—and people in general—regard them as having a special meaning about destiny or as a reminder of somebody we love.

“Having 11:11 included in our collection represents a portal or gateway to higher consciousness or spiritual dimensions,” says Hollowell, who considers the numbers meaningful in her personal and professional life. “Jewelry to me is sentimental in so many ways. It is an opportunity to treasure yourself, treasure others, and be held as a reminder to remember the magic of the past, present, and future.”

Hollowell says she often hears from customers about the 11:11 jewelry. “Many of our clients resonate with 11:11 for personal reasons they hold close to their heart,” Hollowell says. “Wearing 11:11 as an heirloom evokes good luck, and it is a beautiful reminder to stay connected to your inner truth and purpose.”

Personally, I know a family for whom the time 11:11 is a regular reminder of a lost loved one—Metro Detroit pizza maker Shawn Randazzo, who died from a rare brain cancer in December 2020. Whenever I see 11:11 on the clock, I think of Shawn and his family, including his wife, Keri, and mother, Linda, who have 11:11 tattoos in remembrance of his life.

Here are some jewelry designs in addition to Logan Hollowell’s that feature 11:11.
